5 Day Northland Tour
Day
1 - Auckland
Arrive Auckland. Your vehicle will be
at the airport ready and waiting. Transfer to your first nights
accommodation at the Gulf Harbour Resort and Country Club.
Relax at one of the bars, café's or restaurants on the waterfront
in the America's Cup Village.
Day 2 - Gulf
Harbour Auckland
 This
morning you will play on the challenging Gulf Harbour course,
home of the 1998 World Cup of Golf. The designer, Robert Trent
Jones II likens the layout to the illustrious Pebble Beach
in California. In the afternoon you will head north to the
beautiful Bay of Islands.
Day
3 - Waitangi Golf Club, Bay of Islands
 Enjoy
some free time this morning to discover the natural beauty
of the Bay of Islands with its 144 islands and myriad of secluded
beaches. You could join a cruise or try your luck in the famous
game fishing grounds. If you are feeling a little more adventurous
perhaps parasailing, scuba diving, kayaking or a beautiful
bushwalk will take your pleasure.
After lunch
your next golfing session will be at the scenic Waitangi Golf
Club which has spectacular water views from many holes.
Day 4 - Kauri
Cliffs, Bay of Islands
 A
short trip north brings you to the new and beautiful Kauri
Cliffs Resort. Golf Digest voted Kauri Cliffs the "Best
New International Golf Course of 2001". This magnificent
championship golf course provides a total of 15 holes with
views of the Pacific Ocean and the spectacular Bay of Islands.
Six of these holes are played alongside cliffs that plunge
into the sea. Depending on your departure time on day 5 you
can choose to either head back to Auckland later this afternoon
or first thing in the morning.
Day 5
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel,
then depending on your departure time you may like to do some
shopping in central Auckland or relax before you transfer
to Auckland Airport for the flight to your next destination.
