Day Queenstown Tour
Day
1 - Queenstown
Arrive Queenstown. Your vehicle will
be at the airport ready and waiting. You will drive to your
first night's accommodation at the luxurious Millbrook Resort.
Depending on your arrival time you may like to take advantage
of the fantastic leisure opportunities the resort has to offer.
If you are feeling energetic try out the gymnasium, tennis
or indoor swimming pool. For a more relaxing pastime you could
have a sauna, massage or explore some of New Zealand's most
scenic walking tracks.
Day 2 - Millbrook
Resort, Queenstown
 Your
first round of golf will be at the Millbrook Resort Golf Course.
This course is best described as "18 holes of magic". Designed
by internationally renowned professional golfer and former
British Open winner Sir Bob Charles, Millbrook Resort's par
72-championship course is a truly exceptional experience.
After golf enjoy free time to relax or choose from an unsurpassed
range of activities that this region has to offer - bungy
jumping, jetboat excursions, cruises on Lake Wakatipu, walking
and excellent shopping facilities.
Day
3 - Milford Sound
 You
will be collected from your hotel this morning and will travel
to Lake Te Anau in the Milford Sound. The road to Milford
is arguably one of the world's best alpine roads. Winding
through a constantly changing landscape, the road reveals
rivers, lakes, tussock flats and of course the many mountains
that give Fiordland its unique character. You will board a
cruise in the idyllic waters of Milford Sound and admire the
magnificent scenery close up. Catch views of dolphins and
seals basking on rocks. Milford Sound is the most famous and
accessible of the grand glacier carved fiords of Fiordland.
Be inspired as mountain peaks soar overhead and waterfalls
tumble hundreds of metres into the sea below. Deep blue waters,
cascading waterfalls, sheer cliffs, dense rain forest, towering
mountains and fascinating wildlife, it's all here waiting
for you. You
have the option to return by coach or take the wonderful scenic
flight back to Queenstown.
Day 4 - Kelvin Heights, Queenstown
 Don't
forget your camera as well as your clubs today, for your visit
to the scenically spectacular Kelvin Heights golf course. From
every hole there is a majestic backdrop of snow-capped mountains
and crystal clear lake. The fifth hole "Shoreline" is one of
the most photographed holes in world golf. This is a must play
golfing attraction. This
afternoon you could catch the Skyline Gondola to the summit
of the hill overlooking the town for incredible views over the
lake. An incomparable 360° panoramic view awaits as you enjoy
the delights of the restaurant.
Day 5 - Queenstown
Depending on your departure time today
you may manage to fit in a round of golf at the Arrowtown
Golf Course. This is a mature, undulating country course to
play, with towering cliffs overlooking the course.
